OUR STALLION - OAKENBANK GRENADIER (Queenbury Hussar / Penrhyn Dignity) Born 1992

Grenadier is graded ‘Quality Approved’ by the Cleveland Bay Horse Society UK and has been awarded a ‘Premium’ every year to date since 1997, being 2^nd Reserve Champion Stallion at the King George V 2002

He is a very handsome horse with great character and a wonderful temperament.  His active straight paces and natural jumping ability make him very versatile, having gained British Dressage Points in his only two outings, won locally in Show Jumping and has numerous Ridden Showing Championships to his name.  His progeny are inheriting all of his attributes and are doing well in all disciplines including Royal Show winners.

Of course the Stallion is only half of the equation so here at Thomsonbrook we select brood mares who are either graded ‘Premium’ and/or have proved themselves under saddle before retiring to stud.  Even though breeding is always a learning curve we feel that if we use proven hardy quality stock, the odds on getting the same standard in our youngstock must be greater
